The 3D X-Ray inspection is used to check boards assembled with BGA, uBGAs and Flip Chip components. Of course it is also possible to check the soldering joints of any SMT or THT component, even inside the PCB holes.
It’s an ideal, low-cost, solution for prototype verification and an indispensable mean for complex boards check in the series production.
